You need to source out a constant supply of good quality meat on a daily basis.
There are about 50 ingredients you need to worry about
and you need to process a large batch everyday.
Many suppliers of siomai have their own meat supply direct from the farm in huge volume.
Ingredients are bought by truck loads and not by pieces.
They have imported expensive machines worth 10 Million to process such volumes.
We are talking about 10,000-50,000 pieces per day.
Competing with them would be futile.
It would be more economically viable
to just order your required small volume from these huge siomai manufacturer.

Most of them just buy it from the same supplier.

The logic is the same with Hotdogs.
if you are planning to sell hotdogs,
you wouldn't want to make your own hotdog,
the final cost would be too expensive and the process of creating one is difficult.
Most of all, you need to pay employees.
You can only do this if you have a capital of more than 20 Million.
if you don't, don't even think about it.
I know, I have tried it myself.
No matter what, if you do not have the capital to hire above 20 employees full time,
buy tons of quality meat and other ingredients, buy machines, you simply can't compete.
